Mine refuses to play anything but Region 1, but I've wiggled my way around this by getting my laptop to convert region 2 discs into region 1. It's an extra step but at least I'm not robbed of all non-American films anymore :D<br /><br />Were your films (excluding Good News) your choices or they happened to be playing on tv?
